I created an illustration for The Continent’s “Happy Places” postcard, a reader-inspired commission about places where people go to find peace. The illustration was based on a reader’s memory of a local Nairobi coffee shop, sitting outside watching cars and people pass by, enjoying the blue sky, and taking long walks through one of the city’s forests.
