Client: People’s Process onHousing and Poverty in Zambia (PPHPZ)
Lusaka, Zambia
I was commissioned to visually document a participatory action research workshop in Kanyama, Lusaka, where women gathered to discuss how green spaces could better support their community. Through live graphic recording and illustrated mapping, I translated conversations and lived experiences into a visual narrative. Participants collaboratively illustrated their neighborhood, highlighting everyday realities, environmental challenges, and opportunities for change. The workshop explored ways to reclaim underused spaces through community gardens, waste recycling, and sustainable practices that improve food security and resilience.
Thank you for watching!
